R Rittenhouse Square
Rittenhouse Square is special because it was named after Astronomer-Clockmaker, U.S. Mint Member David Rittenhouse. It is located by 18th, Walnut and Latimer.

There are many sculptures in Rittenhouse Square; (a frog, dog, lion & snake, etc).

In the shape of a square, Rittenhouse Square is very fun place to play. You can play there, or just relax.

Around the park: apartment buildings, cafés, radio towers, (etc). Even my Principal lives there!

Rittenhouse Square was enclosed by a fence in 1816. People gave money for trees, walkways and fountains.
